Elevate

From 13–17 May 2026, partners of the ELEVATE project – an Erasmus+ Capacity Building in Youth (CBY) project under the Sub-Saharan Africa (SSA) strand – gathered in Serbia for an international training on Personal Competencies, bringing together participants from Kenya, Uganda, Serbia, Italy and Austria. The training focused on strengthening youth workers’ capacities while reviewing, adapting and fine-tuning training materials that will later be used in local trainings for young people across partner countries. Topics included communication, critical and creative thinking, teamwork, work ethics, stress management, decision-making, self-awareness, public speaking and employability skills. Through collaborative work and exchange of experiences, partners ensured that future learning materials respond to local contexts and the needs of young people. The ELEVATE project supports youth employability through international cooperation, non-formal learning and skills development.
